On the 24th January to 2nd February 2016, The Faculty of Law and Political Science Clinical Legal Education(FLP CLE) had been to the North of Laos, Luangnamtha and Oudomxay Province to do a 2days Training of Trainer (Each District) to the 29 Village Leader, in 3 District which are from Sing District, Luangnamtha Province and Lar and Namor District in Oudomxay Province. Which were support by Care International Oganization. More than 261 Village Leader attend the workshop. In this member of participants are include: Head of the Village, Duty Head of the Village, Woman’s union, Elderly, Police of the Village, Land unit in the village, Youth unit and Village mediation unit.
The lead of this activity is Ajan Souliyanh Lounchantha, the Director of the FLP CLE and the FLP CLE Team Member, which are the Trainers. “The TOT Training are focus in using the CLE Metrology to implement the awareness rising to the villagers which will be conducts later on by the Village leader that we train.” Said Ajan Souliyanh Lounchantha. The workshop are focus on how to make a lesson plan which are including the 7 Step: Topic, Outcomes, Knowledge, Skills and Values, Interactive methods, Materials and Evaluation. The first day is all about the how to create a Lesson Plan and the second day the Trainers divide participants in to group to create their own lesson plan as well as teach to the other group and have a reflection on how well do each group preform. This activity come with the great successes, the participants are actively involved in every session. The FLP CLE are really welling to see the village leader which we train use this knowledge and experience in rising awareness and teach general knowledge about Law to their villagers. This also support the Parliament and Government Champagne on the “Rule of Law”
